1. ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible, individuals must be age 18 or over on the date of entry in the contest, be a resident of the province of Quebec and be a member of a group with which La Capitale General Insurance has an exclusive insurance program.

2. TO ENTER
Ways to enter
Request a quote from La Capitale General Insurance Inc. (hereafter referred to as Category A)

• Submit a complete quote request in due form to La Capitale General Insurance Inc. for any of the following products: Personal automobile insurance, personal property insurance and/or recreational vehicle insurance. For every insurance quote requested, you'll get one chance to win.

Hold an insurance policy with La Capitale General Insurance Inc. (hereafter referred to as Category B)

• Be a client of La Capitale General Insurance Inc.: All clients with personal automobile insurance, personal property insurance and/or recreational vehicle insurance will be automatically entered in the contest. Each existing product you hold gives you two chances to win. For example, a client who has a home insurance policy and an automobile insurance policy covering two vehicles will have six chances to win!

Designation of participants
The name of the owner of the automobile indicated on the automobile insurance contract, the name of the owner of the property indicated on the personal property insurance contract (home, condominium, mobile home, non-resident owner or seasonal residence), the names of the individuals indicated as resident tenants on the personal property insurance contract and the names of the owners indicated on a recreational vehicle insurance contract.

Ineligibility
The contest is not open to the following individuals:

• Clients with disputed claims or who are in default of payment with La Capitale General Insurance Inc.
• Entrants may not use a fictitious or assumed name: All contestants must use their real names (No nicknames, names of individuals under age 18, or any assumed names will be eligible in the draw).

3. CONTEST PERIOD
The contest runs from January 11, 2011 to December 23, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.

4. PRIZES
A 7-night vacation package in the form of a travel voucher with a value of $7,500 for two people with double-occupancy accommodation at a 4-star hotel in Barcelona, offered in conjunction with Global Tourisme International, a company registered in Quebec.

The winner may redeem his or her prize at any time in 2012. The reservations must be made in 2012 and travel must be completed by December 31, 2012. Reservations will be subject to availability at the time of booking. Any recipient(s) who wish to use the travel voucher or make bookings after December 31, 2012, must reach an agreement with Global Tourisme International regarding use of the voucher.

The prize cannot be transferred nor redeemed for cash. However, the winner may select the package described above or use the voucher for the destination of his or her choice.

Other details:

• The prize includes economy class return airfare for two with departure from Montreal, subject to the availability of flights.
• Personal welcome at the Barcelona airport and transfer by private car to the hotel.
• Seven nights accommodation at a four-star hotel in downtown Barcelona in a room with a private bathroom.
• 7 buffet-style breakfasts at the hotel.
• A five-hour tour of the city in a private car with an anglophone guide.
• A one-day excursion with a chauffeur and guide to The Dali Museum and the town of Figueres, with the option of a wine-tasting at a vineyard en route.
• A gala supper with emcee in a downtown restaurant.
• A discount card providing access to museums and free transportation within Barcelona (Barcelona card) for 4 days.
• Transfer from the hotel to the airport for the return flight.
• The contribution to the Compensation fund for customers of travel agents will be included, provided the amount of the travel voucher is sufficient to cover such costs.
• Any booking or confirmation fees levied by Global Tourisme International are included.
• Passengers are responsible for ensuring they have all required travel documentation (passports and visas).
• Customs and immigration requirements may change at any time prior to departure.
• Subject to flight and hotel supplier availability. Advance reservations required.
• Exclusions: Travel insurance including trip cancellation and medical and hospital coverage, personal insurance and personal expenses, including midday and evening meals.

5. CONTEST SUBMISSION DEADLINE
The deadline for requesting an insurance quote to be eligible for the contest is Friday, December 23, 2011, at 3:00 p.m.

6. DRAW
Date and location of draw
The draw will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. at the La Capitale General Insurance Communications and Marketing department, located at 525 René-Lévesque Blvd E., 6th Floor, Quebec, QC G1R 5S9.

Terms and conditions of the draw

• The winner will be selected by a random electronic draw.
• No entry forms will be distributed or accepted.
• One (1) prize winner (one client number) will be randomly selected in an electronic draw from all eligible entrants who have either requested an insurance quote or who are existing clients of La Capitale General Insurance Inc. The winner will be announced as described in Section 2 of these Contest Rules.

Odds of winning
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible quotes requested and the number of eligible clients of La Capitale General Insurance Inc. at the time the prize is awarded.

To be declared a winner
In order to be declared an official winner, the selected entrant must be reached by phone. La Capitale General Insurance Inc. will make reasonable attempts to contact the selected entrant by telephone. If, for whatever reason, a selected entrant cannot be contacted or does not respond within 30 days of the draw, La Capitale General Insurance Inc. reserves the right to select another winner.

Claiming the prize
The winner must claim the prize within 15 days following the date he or she was contacted by La Capitale from the La Capitale General Insurance Inc. Marketing department located at 525 René-Lévesque Blvd E., 6th Floor, Quebec, QC, 418 266-9858, otherwise La Capitale General Insurance Inc. reserves the right to select another winner.

7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND ENTRY EXCLUSIONS
Mathematical skill-testing question
In order to claim the prize, the selected entrant must correctly answer a mathematical question. If there are two or more entrants under a single winning insurance contract entry, the first person contacted will be asked to answer the mathematical skill-testing question.

Use of winner's name
In accepting the prize, the winner authorizes the contest organizers and their representatives to use his or her name and/or photograph for publicity purposes. La Capitale General Insurance Inc. reserves the right to use the winners' names in all subsequent communications.

Liability waiver
La Capitale General Insurance Inc. may not be held liable for any travel disruptions due but not limited to bad weather, acts of God, war, rebellion or insurrection.

Restrictions on participation
Ineligible persons:

Employees of participating companies and of La Capitale General Insurance Inc., affiliated agents and agencies and their employees as well as employees of all subsidiaries of La Capitale Financial Group and individuals residing at the same address.

Companies having service provider contracts with La Capitale General Insurance Inc. and La Capitale Financial Group, their employees and individuals residing at the same address.

Dispute
Any dispute respecting the organization or conduct of a promotional contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any dispute respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
